OHIO FLAGS OF HONOR TRAVELING MEMORIAL

WHAT IS OHIO FLAGS OF HONOR?

The Ohio Flags of Honor Traveling Memorial honors the men and women of Ohio who have given their lives in service to their country.

Specifically, those Fallen in the Wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and the War on Terrorism since September 11, 2001.

Over 800 flags were set out.  301 flags were placed in the opening ceremony that have the name of a fallen hero on them.

Willard was proud to host the Ohio Flags of Honor traveling memorial in 2019.  As a community we hold our all men and women that serve in high regard, especially those that have answered the call and paid the highest price.  

Thank you Ohio Flags of Honor for letting our community participate in helping keep the memories alive of those who have served and died in the War on Terrorism.  

Thank you also to all those that volunteered their time, donated money, or came to witness the memorial.  You represented Willard well!
