WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
LATEST ORDER FROM OHIO DEPT. OF HEALTH
Issued: March 22, 2020
STAY AT HOME DIRECTIVE
WATER BILL 3/23/2020
The City of Willard recognizes we are operating in unprecedented times. Effective immediately, the City will temporarily postpone shutoffs/disconnects for the month of March for customers who are past due on their utility bill. We will continue to monitor the State of Emergency and adjust our procedures as necessary. Residents should continue to make their payments either online, through the Utility Office drive-through window located behind City Hall or the drop box located in the vestibule of City Hall.
CITY OF WILLARD CORONA VIRUS RESPONSE: 3/17/2020
The spread of the Corona Virus has caused disruption in all our lives. Most gatherings of individuals in single locations are no longer permitted, due to the communal spread of COVID-19 aka, Corona Virus.
In order to help secure your well-being, to help ensure the well-being of all our City employees, and most importantly, to help stop the potential spread of the Corona Virus, all Municipal Government Offices will be closed to the public, beginning March 18, 2020.
The City will continue providing most services, it will just be done without the close personal interaction. The new term for that is Social Distancing.
City offices will maintain the same hours of service, and we will be available to assist residents via phone and emails during this time period. Included below are the phone numbers for all City of Willard Departments in the event you may have questions or need assistance. Also included is the Ohio Department of Health COVID-19 hotline phone number in case residents have questions regarding the virus. In cases where a face to face meeting is needed, you may call us and we will try to accommodate your request, if your question or concern can’t be remotely handled.
These changes are being taken in order to help limit exposure to COVID-19 in our community. Currently there are zero reported cases of COVID-19 in Willard, Ohio. It is our hope that by making these changes, we will be able to return to normal faster.
A detailed list of the City of Willard’s responses regarding all Departments is linked above. Due to the fluid and dynamic nature of this epidemic, please refer to this list regularly as these responses may change often. Please understand that every decision made is to ultimately keep Willard safe.
Prayers to each of you and your families. We are all in this together!

As you know, seniors are at a higher risk from the effects of the Corona Virus. Because of this, we are asking that all our stores consider having a set time where seniors can come in by themselves. If your business does this, or offers free delivery to seniors, please let us know so we can pass this on the community.
Please send us your information if you want to be added for either: email@example.com
Norwalk Walmart will open one hour early (6am-7am) for seniors (60+) to shop every TUESDAY from March 24th to April 28. Pharmacy and Vision will also be open.
TAKEOUT OR DELIVERY
We are going to be adding a section to let our community know what restaurants offer pickup and delivery soon.
